An inflatable version of the famous Stonehenge is currently on display in Glasgow Green in the East end of the city.
It was designed by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller and is called ‘Sacrilege’. It is the first time a work by this artist has been on display in Scotland and has proved to be very popular since it went on display last week.
It is one of the displays in the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art which continues until Monday 7th May. After that it will be displayed in other parts of the UK before going to London for the Olympic Games.
The installation is deflated at 6pm every night and re-inflated in minutes the following morning.
When I passed it was bring used by people of various ages and when I pass the next time I may be tempted to have a go myself.

Interesting and strange!
Interesting and wonderful idea! Hope our city too has such inflatable wonders for exhibitions here, perhaps Taj Mahal or Red Fort would be great to start with.
