The Long-billed Dowicher was still at the Haugh on Sunday 25th September. It has settled in with the Lapwing and looks like it will remain until the water level rises. Some Greenshank and Snipe were also seen in the same area.
The Falcon was also spotted again at the Marsh Hide eating a small rodent.
Other birds spotted were the Kingfisher, which was flying around the Clyde near the Centenary Hide. Some Teal were seen around this area as well.
The Lapwing should remain at the Haugh over the winter, while other winter birds should start arriving soon.
