My younger son and his wife lived just round the corner from the mansions and I was always impressed when I passed them.
I still can’t believe they put the motorway there. It is difficult to admire the buildings, especially the Mitchell Library. I love architecture so get upset when I can’t appreciate it.
It is an eyesore.
