About the Author

I am a cyclist and walker from Central Scotland. Most of my outdoor pursuits are carried out in Scotland and the North of England.

I love cycling, but in recent years I have taken up walking as well,  so I can get to more inaccessible places. Some trails are suitable for mountain bikes but others are just too difficult to ride a mountain bike over.

My blog will include articles of my cycling and walking trips. In the last few years I have cycled round Northumberland, the islands of Arran, Cumbrae and Bute and taken my folding bike to Windsor for a week’s holiday.

My walking took me up Goat Fell in Arran, part of the Southern Upland Way, the first part of the West Highland Way and smaller walks up the Campsie Hills, the Clyde walkway and Loch Lomond and Luss.

However, I will always love cycling until the day I die. It’s my passion in life.

You would be right on Colleen’s wavelength, Jane. Colleen, ‘Chattermaster’ who comments on my page regularly. She cycles & writes about it. It’s a wonderful way to see the world, I reckon.

    I really enjoy your pages.
